To me, that just validates my belief that since Windows XP they've been leaving money on the table. One area where Windows has been well behind Linux for a while is application management. Redhat (and Fedora) and Ubuntu have these great repositories of applications that are ready to go and automatically installable. There's no equivalent for Windows. But Apple makes a truckload of money on an App store, and a year later Microsoft announces they're creating an App store for Windows mobile. Imagine how much money they're leaving on the table by not being able to do the same thing for the installed Windows base.
